Fire Extinguishing Agent approvals

To ensure the quality and performance for all our fire extinguishing agents we maintain internationally recognized certifications and approvals. All our fire extinguishing agents are included in the US Environmental Protection Agency’s SNAP list as acceptable alternatives for occupied spaces to Halon 1301.

Our products have been included in the technical design standard of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) NFPA 2001and in the International Standard Organization (ISO) which provide guidelines to the users concerning the design, installation, operation, testing and maintenance of fire extinguishing systems.

NAF S 125™ and NAF S 227™ are both component recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for their fire extinguishing performance and chemical composition.

Fire Extinguishing System approvals

NAF S 125™ and NAF S 227™ Fire Extinguishing Systems are listed by Underwriters’ Laboratories Inc. (UL). UL Listed NAF S 125™ and NAF S 227™ Fire Extinguishing Systems meet or exceed the requirement of UL 2166 Standard for Halocarbon Clean Agent Extinguishing System Units.
In addition our products hold a variety of listings or approvals by nationally recognized testing laboratories including Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for marine applications
Our systems are also undergoing Factory Mutual (FM) certification, with approval anticipated in early 2013.
