The NAF® Extinguishing Agents have been carefully formulated to optimise, on one hand the environmental impact, and on the other, the physical and extinguishing characteristics which are similar to those of Halon. In addition our patented detoxifying additives minimize the levels of breakdown products generated when halocarbons are in contact with flames.
 
The NAF Agents have also been also carefully selected on account of their special characteristics which allow their use in existing Halon systems requiring only minor modification thus providing cost effective solutions for both new and retrofit systems.
 
All our products are based upon Halocarbons which are supplied by companies leader in fluorocarbons technologies. It is very important to stress that Fluorocarbons meet the highest standard specification. Although some fluorocarbons may meet the quality specification posed by International Fire-Protection Standards, they may contain small concentrations of very toxic compounds that could be very harmful if used in fire protection systems, particularly those designed for occupied areas.
